Rest Here & Reflect // Brooklyn Botanic Gardens

A few weeks ago, I visited the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with one of my best friends. We both brought our cameras and tried to visit each exhibit to capture the beauty of nature around us. Although autumn is approaching and most of the gardens were on their decline, we still got to appreciate the beauty of many different plants and flowers. The sun was shining and the temperature was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. We went in the late afternoon too, so the sun wasn't too intruding on our photos and the natural light instead led to beautiful pictures. We visited many exhibits from the Rose Garden to the Bonsai Museum to the Desert House and the Lily Pool Terrace, but we still didn't visit everything. At 52-acres, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is huge! and there is so much to see and do. There is even a little cafe where you can grab a quick bite to eat and drink, and the Brooklyn Museum is right across the parking lot. I plan to visit again soon, at least the Brooklyn Museum in the wintertime and wait for springtime when the flowers are in full bloom.

I really enjoy taking pictures of nature, especially flowers, and I know I've been blowing up my Instagram and Facebook with pictures from my trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, but here are some more shots for you to enjoy anyway:
